My work is focused on the self-assembly and reactions of molecules at surfaces, and the growth and modification of graphene and other 2D materials.  To elucidate on these systems requires me to draw on a range of experimental and computational techniques, with a particular emphasis on scanning probe microscopy and x-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS).

Experience:

Jeniffer has worked on the organising committee for a number of workshops and conferences including the International Symposium for Graphene Devices (2016) and NanoS-E3 (2015).

 

She is the current supervisor of a number of PhD and MSc students working in 2D materials research. Project topics include surface reactions of aromatic molecules, graphene for advanced materials, energy storage, and passivation coatings.
